Bisila Bokoko with Yokora Projects

Bisila Bokoko (International Board Advisor) has been the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce US-Spain in New York for almost seven-years, which is dedicated to fostering trade, investment and institutional relations between Spain and the United States. Prior to join this organization, she had six-years tenure with IVEX New York. Nowadays, with expertise in business development; helping companies to successfully enter international markets in Europe, U.S. and Africa. Considered one of the ten most influential Spanish women in the business world of America for its ability to develop and cultivate relationships with foreign Heads of State, Ministers of Commerce / Economics and International business leaders.

To bring hope to children in Africa and Latin America is one of her proposed goals. This project is supported by the African Literacy 'Bisila Bokoko' (BBALP), which mission is to promote literacy among African peoples. The purpose of this non-profit organization is to bring together people from around the world under the slogan: 'with a book, you're never alone.' Her studies in Law and International Relations her passionate about human rights, hopeful in the dream of international relations may exist in peace, ethics and respect.

Among her many contributions, structured and secured partnerships with the media and entertainment giant Disney to promote products from the region of Valencia in the US market. Resulting a 25% increase in demand for wines exported from Valencia. As part of promoting investment in the region of Valencia, played a key role in ensuring Valencia as host city for the 32nd Annual America's Cup. She helped structure a deal to air two televised shows: 'On the road again' and 'Made in Spain'. Which main goal was to promote the industries of food, wine and tourism in Spain. In 2010, he joined the wine business to become the face of a new brand of wines available in Spain and the U.S. markets.

Today, she sits on the advisory board of many organizations in Africa, Europe and North America, such as Macdella Cooper Foundation, African Development Institute, Empretec- UNCTAD in Geneva, Fashion for Development, New York African Fashion Week. She continues working with EMPRETE- UNCTAD a program that awards women entrepreneurs in Africa and Latin America.

As a result of her efforts she has appeared in diverse publications such as Vanity Fair 'or' New York Magazine. He has received numerous international awards such as 'Woman of the Year 2011' by CCM.
